Membership in Albanian Medical Education Association

Membership in the Albanian Medical Education Association is voluntary. Members are health professionals from all fields of medicine, including students of medicine and technical medical sciences.

Albanian Medical Education Association offers for all doctors and nurses numerous scientific activities such as: congresses, conferences, workshops, satellite symposia, lectures, trainings, etc., in every discipline of medicine, becoming the undisputed leader in Continuing Education in Albania.

Throughout the past years, we have developed over 20 scientific events such as; masterclasses, conferences, webinars, enabling health professionals to receive not only continuing education, but also credits.

The title "Honorary Members" are considered eminences in the field of medicine or beyond with outstanding contributions, by proposal of the President and by decision of the Board of Directors.

The title "Members of Charity" can be given by proposal of the President and decision of the Board of the Association, to natural persons who help to strengthen and develop the association through financial support, leaving or donating property or financial values by will.

Albanian Medical Education Association members have the right to be elected to the Board of Directors, to participate in its activities, as well as to contribute to its development and reputation. Members are obliged to regularly pay the annual membership contribution to the association. The member of the association is free to renounce the membership, by notifying its Board of Directors in writing.

An Albanian Medical Education Association member may be deregistered if he or she violates the association's charter or fails to comply with it.

Members of the AMEA association have priority and facilities in the registration of scientific medical activities of the association and 20% discount on all scientific activities.

The right of membership is neither alienable nor inherited.
